A new exciting release from a new Independent Whisky Bottler in Edinburgh. Caol Ila single malt aged 11 years and finished for 1 year in a first fill Palo Cortado Sherry Hogshead.
Nose: Smoked tea, ash, fresh oak, coastal, lemon candy, praline, cloves and plums
Palate: Strong maritime smoke, black coffee, leather, slightly nedicinal, very savoury
Finish: Tar, liquorice, tobacco leaves, espresso, toasted oak
