the nose is exitic with old oak, charcoal, green pepper and wild strawberry and cherry. The bouquet mixes ripe red fruits and developing notes of undergrowth.
A Jura icon Chateau d’Arlay is one of the oldest Chateau in France. Winemaker Alain takes a modern approach to winemaking with a traditional style of cellaring, the wines see extended aging in the Chateau’s fine cellars. Vines date back to 1953 and the Estates 25 hectares are planted with Pinot Noir, Trousseau, Poulsard and Savagnin.
