Ripe apricot and melon aromas meet accents of salt, pine and white flowers. This is rounded in feel yet driven by a persistent citrus flavor. There’s a white tea-like astringency to the midpalate that extends through the salty finish.
The Produttori di Manduria cooperative have been making wines in Manduria, Puglia, right on Italy’s heel, for over 40 years. They specialise in Puglia’s most famous export Primitivo, but lucky for us make some beautiful, elegant, dry white wines whose light tropical fruit and coastal character pair well with seafood or as a unique talking point aperitif.
