Description
This is a blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Carignan from the Pays D’Herault in the South of France. At Domaine de la Dourbie, garrigue flower grows between the vines – a mark of place that also stamps their wines. Cinsault is their emblematic grape variety, and here provides the touchstone of this fruity and fresh blend. Grenache accents with characteristic plush red fruits, meanwhile Syrah provides tannin structure and black pepper, and Carignan rounds everything out with a touch of acidity. This is an exceptionally versatile, gastronomic wine that will make for delicious summer evening drinking.
