Downpour Gin hails from North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. Started in 2019 by island born Jonny & Kate, they have a love of the island and surroundings, with a keen focus on doing justice to the distillery building, it’s landscape and community. They are busy working on a whisky but for now have created a small range of exciting Gins using several local botanicals alongside classic favourites.
Downpour Gin has won plenty of awards, including a gold medal in the London Spirits Competition, and a master award in the Spirits Business Gin Masters 2022.
