CHAMPAGNE + WHITE DUO GIFT PACK
Two of our favourite picks from this years Annual Winter Wine Fair. Champagne from the family owned estate Gonet Sulcova, and an elegant, organic French blend of Sauvignon Balnc and Colombard from Domaine Capmartin.
First up the Gonet Sulcova Champagne NV is a reserve cuvée made with a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. Its light on it’s feet with fruitiness and citrus freshness, a pleasure to drink. .A Grower Champagne aged a minimum of 2 years before release.
The second wine is Capmartin Lou Piaf, a fresh wine that is full of life, with crisp apple and pear fruit aromas, which mingle with delicate floral notes. On the palate the wine is lifted by subtle exotic notes of kiwi and pineapple, yet the overwhelming character is that of precision, linear minerality and elegance.
Grapes are sourced from organic vineyards located in the southwest of Gascony, on the region’s mixed clay and limestone soils. The vines here are over 20 years old and guyot trained.
