From a single Refill Bourbon Barrel distilled at InchDairnie Distillery. Finglassie is the name given to their peated spirit produced for a few weeks each year.
Excellent balance of peat smoke, the nose is an Islay lovers dream with sweet bonfire, oil and citrus fruit. On the palate it’s balanced especially the alcohol which sits comfortably even at this higher natural cask strength. Pear and apple fruit mix with a little sponge cake and lemon, the smoke is still there but a little ashy and lighter. An exciting window into what we can expect from this excellent new distillery.
