Description
Made in tiny batches by Australian Winemaker Andrew Marks at his family’s Yarra Valley Winery Gembrook Hill. Andrew uses a 130L copper pot baine marie still from Portugal (the type originally used to distil perfume) to individually distil each botanical, before assembling this textural, complex and citrus dominant Gin.
The botanical mix pays homage to the London Dry Gin style: Juniper, Coriander Seed, Grapefruit Peel, Navel Orange Peel, Honey Myrtle,Angelica Root, Orris Root,Sandlewood, Cassia Bark, Rosemary, Macadamia Nut.
The base NGS is derrived from Shiraz and Semillon Wines.
The texture here is a winning factor, combined with an excellent balance of botanicals this makes a unique but reliable gin for mixing and sipping.
