Description
A unique Miltonduff single cask, bottled around natural cask strength following 15 years in american oak, ex bourbon casks, and a further maturation of 17 month in a Refill Fill Oloroso Sherry cask.
Cask Finishes:
Like many blenders of his time, Mr. Eadie was fond of casks which had previously held brandies or fortified wines. These included Sherry, Madeira and Marsala, amongst others. So Rupert, Hugh and Leon, the three people who make up the modern James Eadie Whisky Company, have set about creating their Cask Finish range. This range explores the flavours which additional maturation in fortified wine barrels can offer.
Some barrels are truly one-of-a-kind. Unique in style and flavour, these are bottled as Single Casks.
All Cask Finish and Single Cask releases are bottled at cask strength, natural colour and unchillfiltered. They are each supplied in individual gift tubes.
