Description
A unique Tamnavulin single cask, bottled at natural cask strength following 9 years in American oak, ex bourbon casks, and a further maturation of 8 months in a First FIll Malaga Sweet Wine Cask.
It has a lovely soft milk chocolate, marzipan and Kinder bueno flavour on the palate, with the creamy hazelnut making this a very enjoyable dram.
Cask Finishes:
Like many blenders of his time, Mr. Eadie was fond of casks which had previously held brandies or fortified wines. These included Sherry, Madeira and Marsala, amongst others. So Rupert, Hugh and Leon, the three people who make up the modern James Eadie Whisky Company, have set about creating their Cask Finish range. This range explores the flavours which additional maturation in fortified wine barrels can offer.
Some barrels are truly one-of-a-kind. Unique in style and flavour, these are bottled as Single Casks.
All Cask Finish and Single Cask releases are bottled at cask strength, natural colour and unchillfiltered. They are each supplied in individual gift tubes.
