Description
Turner’s Barn is an excellent variety, thought to originate between Much, Marcle and Dymock, it produces generous crops of perfectly round yellow pears. The flavour is crisp and tangy, reminiscent of the very best lemon sherbet.
The Johnson family of Ross on Wye have been pressing apples and pears at Broome Farm since the 1930s. Today their natural cider is produced in the same traditional way in the unique soil and climate of Herefordshire. The cidermaking is pure and simple, using only whole juice, and using natural fermentation.
