Kingston Black is a wonderful bittersharp, with plenty of acidity and big crunchy tannins, but this bottling is all about the oak. A first-fill 8.0% bourbon cask has produced huge juicy, vanilla whiskey notes, cut through perfectly by the acidity of the KB. Think whiskey sour with extra apple.
