Description
Wild apples picked by Robbie from fifty different locations all over North and East Fife, particular emphasis placed on 13 specific varieties of seedling and crab apples from uncultivated wild trees. These were blended at pressing with some locally grown cider apples and eating apples. This is a dry, light cider, with the tiniest touch of residual sugar which brings body and a little mouthfeel, and is absolutely bursting with stone fruits – huge aounts of mouth watering peach and nectarine, with the tiniest smidge of chalky tannin at the end. Unbelievably fruit-forward and a real joy to drink. Full juice and wild fermented.
