Brewed in the Scottish Highlands as a collaboration between Up Front Brewing, Dog Falls brewing, and the Applecross Brewing Company, with Scottish grown base malt, whole cone E.K.G. hops, and slow fermented on neutral yeast. Aged in a selection of Islay and Highland whisky barrels with a touch of freshly-made Scottish cinder toffee, before blending. Sweet and rich, with complex fruity malt notes, heavy caramel, light peat smoke, and subtle vanilla/tannin character, all combine to give a truly Scottish wee heavy. Highland Toffee in a glass! And just in time for Burns night too!
