A new limited expression from Badachro Distillery. Single Malt whisky sourced from a secret Highland distillery then aged at Badachro on the west coast of the highlands, in their Dunnage warehouse.
Tropical fruits for days, orange peel, vanilla, fudge, coconut, mango and banana with fudge. On the palate citrus, especially pineapple stands out with a light drizzle of syrup. The finish shows marmalade on toast with a long-lasting toasted oak coating the mouth.
All together the gentler side of the Bad na h-Achlaise collection, a real whisky drinker’s whisky, oh so subtle but still extraordinarily complex.
