Description
This unique Single Malt, distilled and filled at Glenlossie Distillery in 2009, was matured for many years in a recharred hogshead then ‘finished’ in a barrel which previously held the highly prized sweet wine, Picolit, from Fruili-Venezia Giulia in the North-East of Italy.
The resulting whisky carries notes of buttery brioche, tropical fruit salad, yellow apples, toastey oak spice, hints of almond oil and waxy citrus peel.
