Description
A very limited release and highly sought after wine from Alex & Maria Koppitsch. Carbonic Pinot Noir made in tiny quantities. A single plot of Pinot Noir (0.3279 hectares) was planted in 1991 on sandy soils. Intensely aromatic and ripe, a bit of a guilty pleasure and a great centre piece for cellabration.
The plot is situated in Seefeld, in the west of Neusiedl am See, at the last bits of solid land before the marshes of the lake start. The whole plot is flat, dry and very windy. Since Seefeld is hot and straight in the haze of lake Neusiedl, the grapes grow very intense aromas.
